The RSNA Research & Education Foundation’s study sections have completed the reviews of the 2025 Grant applications, and we are proud to announce that Dr. Colin J. McCarthy’s application was among the top-ranked and approved for funding by the R&E Board of Trustees. Dr. McCarthy’s work, “Examining the Role for Virtual and Augmented Reality Anxiolysis During Image-Guided Procedures,” has been funded for $60,000 over one year. Congratulations, Dr. McCarthy!

Elliot L. Chaikof, MD, chair, Department of Surgery, is among 19 Harvard university faculty members elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences last week. The Academy, founded in 1780, is both an honorary society that recognizes and celebrates the excellence of its members, and an independent research center convening leaders from across disciplines, professions, and perspectives to address significant challenges.
