Blair J. Wylie, MD, MPH

Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP)

Blair J. Wylie, MD, MPH, is the chair of the BIDMC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She leads the department’s clinical services, research, and education programs.  

 

Previously serving as Division Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at BIDMC, she most recently was the vice chair for Faculty Development and Mentoring in the Department of OB/GYN at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. She was also the Virgil G. Damon Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Professor of Environmental Health Sciences, which is a joint appointment between Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. In addition, she was the founding director of The Collaborative for Women’s Environmental Health at Columbia.

We bring expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and implementation science to domestic and international projects, with topics ranging from biomarker development, to gender bias in the humanitarian sector, to healthcare delivery transformation, to financial toxicity of cancer care, and more.
