About Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology

Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's (HMFP) Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology (OBGYN) provides world-class care to patients throughout all stages of life. Our services span from high-risk pregnancies to complex gynecologic issues, health and wellness visits, pelvic floor and sexual health concerns, and gynecologic cancer. For the past two years, we’ve been named to the U.S. News and World Report’s list of Top Maternity Hospitals and a high-performing hospital for ovarian cancer. We offer the most advanced diagnosis and treatment options and put our patients at the center of all we do.

Our team includes nationally recognized leaders in evidence-based medicine, medical education, patient safety, equity, research, and innovative care. Our research reflects the diversity of interests that is valued in our department. We bring expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and implementation science to domestic and international projects, with topics ranging from biomarker development, to gender bias in the humanitarian sector, to healthcare delivery transformation, to financial toxicity of cancer care, and more.
