We are delighted to announce that Diana Litmanovich, MD, will be expanding her Vice Chair portfolio and taking the lead on several exciting new programs in support of our Practitioner, Practice, and Population portfolio. Under this expanded umbrella, Dr. Litmanovich will oversee the establishment of a Practice Marketing, Branding, and Communications committee, serve as Chair of a new Practice Awards and Recognition committee, and serve as the Executive Sponsor of our ever-expanding Radiology Affinity and Interest Groups. We are proud to announce that James (Jim) Rawson, MD, FAAR, was honored with a Gold Medal at the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Association of Academic Radiology (AAR) in Los Angeles. Jesse Wei, MD, has been appointed as the inaugural Vice Chair for Radiology Informatics and Systems Operations. Wearing many hats, Dr. Wei currently serves as our Clinical Director of Radiology Informatics, Clinical Director of CT Services, Fellowship Director of Abdominal Imaging, and Course Director of the Abdominal Imaging & Peer Learning Conference Series, in addition to holding the academic title of Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. The RSNA Research & Education Foundation’s study sections have completed the reviews of the 2025 Grant applications, and we are proud to announce that Dr. Colin J. McCarthy’s application was among the top-ranked and approved for funding by the R&E Board of Trustees. Dr. McCarthy’s work, “Examining the Role for Virtual and Augmented Reality Anxiolysis During Image-Guided Procedures,” has been funded for $60,000 over one year. Congratulations, Dr. McCarthy!
