Dr. Barouch, Chief of the Center for Virology and Vaccine Research, was awarded the 2023 Paragon Award for Research Excellence from the Doris Duke Foundation in recognition of his work, which has advanced knowledge toward the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human disease.
The Franklin Epstein Society, under the leadership of Steven Freedman, MD, PhD, received 2023 Program Award for a Culture of Excellence in Mentoring (PACEM) from Harvard Medical School. They were selected in recognition of all their work to foster our early career trainees and scientists by providing a longitudinal support program and pipeline to establish careers in research excellence.
