Daniel Walsh, MD, has been appointed Medical Director of CERTAIN—the Center for Education Research, Technology, and Innovation—within the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. As Associate Program Director for our anesthesia residency, Dr. Walsh has already played an important role in advancing resident education. In his new role with CERTAIN, he will expand that work to support education, foster innovation, and create new learning opportunities within the department. We’re excited to see him bring these two roles together and help shape the future of medical education across our department.
