2025 American Society of Emergency Radiology Annual Meeting Recap
The recent 2025 American Society of Emergency Radiology (ASER) Annual Meeting was another success with strong BIDMC representation.
R3 resident Dr. Rokas Liubauskas presented two educational exhibits under the mentorship of Drs. Flower and Levenson: “The Tame, the Bad, and the Ugly: A Radiologic Tour Through Neck Infections” and “Cracks, Contusion, and Clues: CT Patterns in Traumatic Brain Injury.”
ASER President Dr. Levenson was recognized for her dedication and contributions as a Director at Large on the ASER Executive Committee.
Radiology fellow Dr. Meghavi Mashar presented the education exhibit “Aortic Aneurysm, Watch Your Back!” under the mentorship of Drs. Karen Lee and Levenson.
Drs. Lee and Levenson serve on the ASER Annual Meeting Program committee. Dr. Lee presented “Non-Traumatic Abdominal Cases: Test the Radiologist,” was a Jeopardy team contestant, and moderated a scientific session. Dr. Levenson organized and moderated “Medicolegal Aspects of Emergency Radiology.”
R3 Dr. Rokas Liubauskas spoke highly of his ASER experience and recommends it to other trainees: “Attending the ASER annual meeting was a fantastic experience! The combination of high-yield educational content, case-based discussions, and meeting emergency radiologists from across the country was an enriching few days. I especially appreciated the focus on practical imaging approaches, which were especially relevant for a resident on call, and pearls that I am already applying my very next night float.”
