About Healthcare Associates and HMFP
At HMFP, we are proud to support more than 2,400 physicians in our collective mission to deliver outstanding patient care. Primary care physicians are the cornerstone of this effort and your expertise and dedication are fundamental to the success of our organization and the health and well-being of those we serve. HMFP is committed to simplifying and enhancing your ability to provide care, recognizing that the strength of our entire system depends on the vital work you do every day.
Healthcare Associates (HCA) is a primary care group practice at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center offering comprehensive health services to enhance quality of life for our patients. They provide adolescent, adult, and geriatric care. Our patients benefit from a team-based approach led by staff physicians who are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Our care team also includes: Internal medicine residents, fellows, certified nurse practitioners and clinical nurses, licensed clinical social workers, community resource specialists, pharmacists, and support personnel.
HCA endeavors to create a primary care environment where our physicians can thrive and forge their own paths as leading clinicians, educators, and/or researchers. We are home to numerous societies and programs focused on wellness; mentorship; professional development; research excellence; and more. Our faculty are hands-on educators as we train students, residents, and fellows as a core site for Harvard Medical School students and through our Internal Medicine Residency. Our primary care practice cares for 40,500+ patients in the Greater Boston area.
